In Section I, I argued that the challenge Kenya faces is bigger than the personal or political preferences of the winning loser and the losing winner. Beyond a stolen presidential election, it raises the legitimate issue of the political and economic disenfranchisement of a large segment of the Kenyan populace. This must not continue. It behooves each of us to acknowledge this truth, rise to the occasion and examine all of the issues soberly, responsibly and collectively. Only then can the two divides become one, only then can this nation truly heal.
